About Us
The AVO Technical Resouce Center was originally established as the "bookstore" arm of
the AVO Training Institute and provided electrical reference books, handbooks, industry standards,
and training materials such as:
- National Electric Code books
- NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
- IEEE Standards such as the IEEE Blue Book - Recommended Practice for Applying Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers Used in Industrial and Commercial Power Systems
- Electrical Power Equipment Maintenance and Testing
- Electrical Safety Handbook
- Testing Complex Protective Relays
Over time, we have expanded our product offerrings to include:
- personal protective equipment - PPE such as arc-flash hazard suites, flame retardant clothing, etc
- insulated hand tools and tool kits
- safety tools such as hotsticks and voltage detectors
